Change is afoot

Two of the most important points of any experience, according to the book Powerful Moments, are how it begins and how it ends. The same can be said for how you begin a day, week, month, or even a year.

Experience Institute is beginning this year a little differently.

We’re moving a bit more slowly. We’ve spent the past few weeks steeped in reflections, writing, building new programs, and even meeting for four days at a team-wide retreat in LA.

Throughout these weeks, we’ve set the course for some important shifts to take place. There’s too much to share today, but some things you can look forward to:

  1. Insights: After hosting experiences with over 5,000 learners last year, we’ve compiled a series of reflections into a short report to help teams and companies bolster their strategy for learning and development in 2023. We'll be sharing that compilation in the coming weeks.

  2. Hiring: Soon, we'll be posting a new open position at Ei! We place a lot of care and effort into rolling out new roles and we’re excited to see who might join our team next.

  3. Mission & Values: Speaking of the team, we’ve updated the mission and values driving our work. We’re more excited than ever for where (and how) those will guide us.

  4. Next Year: 2024 is a Leap Year! And we’ll be sharing a behind-the-scenes look at how we’ll be using that year to spark learning and change in lives and workplaces around the globe.

  5. Building the Ei Community: We’ll be hosting more community programs, events, and discussions about how to navigate an ever-changing landscape of work.

Wednesday Words will be the best place to stay in touch and learn with us. As always, our goal with these notes is to inspire new experiences and connections to shape how you live and work.

Excited to be in your corner for another year,

Victor, Sara, Erin, Aaron, Phoebe, Katie, and the entire Ei team
