Establishing Team Trust & Connection
Psychological safety is the most important ingredient of high-functioning teams. In this workshop, teammates explore the “why” and “what” of psychological safety in the workplace, learn the key ingredients of establishing trust and belonging, and identify how to implement the ingredients in their work in concrete ways. Colleagues will work through meaningful exercises that push for deeper relationships and shared vulnerability and set the groundwork for future collaboration.
Articulate why psychological safety is essential for healthy teams and the degree to which it is present on the team
Reflect on their own personal and professional experiences on a basis of psychological safety for successful collaboration
Know their own role in how to contribute to building team psychological safety
Operate with a shared language and frameworks for building deeper collaboration
Examine the brain science behind psychological safety
Apply a framework for deeper collaboration, trust, and belonging
I will now practice being more vulnerable and direct. Asking for what I need is something I struggle with, but I believe that what I learned in this workshop set me up for success. I look forward to observing the continued momentum from the team!
