Lead Great Meetings

Course Overview

Professionals are spending nearly 150% more time in meetings than they were pre-2020. Teams are constantly fighting for attention, battling screen sizes, juggling meeting “locations” and shifting work environments. Still, meetings are necessary for moving ideas into action, aligning teams around goals, and allowing for work to move forward.

In this workshop, individuals will learn, practice, and apply seven “Secrets” to facilitating and hosting productive and engaging meetings for internal, external or a mix of audiences, turning dry, obligatory meetings into experiences worth remembering.

Course Takeaways

Apply principles from experience design to lead productive meetings

Learn tactics for engaging meeting audiences across in person and virtual mediums

Build a personal meeting checklist to develop efficiencies around meeting preparation

Inventory meetings and determine where they need to be adjusted

Practice engaging tactics to build inclusivity and team connectivity

Connect with others leading meetings to learn from each other’s experiences and challenges

I liked the specific tactics that were given, like calling people out by name, talking about reiterating purpose and letting that guide who needs to be in the meeting, etc. Also, these workshops can actually be fun and interactive! Great way to meet other people outside of our immediate teams.

Our Methodology

Learn through Experience

Experiences are what change how we see ourselves and the world. People who thrive are curious, focused, have a bias towards action, and pursue ongoing learning.

Ei's methodology is rooted in the belief that the deepest learning occurs through experience. Each workshop addresses specific personal or organizational challenges and then cycles through the pillars of experiential learning.
