Innovation Mindsets

Course Overview

Through interactive activities, case studies, individual reflection, and group discussion, professionals will explore and practice the core "innovation mindsets". This workshop empowers individuals and teams to define innovation as a priority. Teams and individuals will leave with an expanded ability to toggle between mindsets as they encounter problems that require a novel approach.

Course Takeaways

Develop a shared vocabulary and understanding of search activities versus execute activities at work

Gain an awareness of their own default mindsets and which innovation mindsets are hardest for them to adopt

Recognize the advantages of each innovation mindset and how it challenges the status quo

Become equipped to interrupt innovation-limiting mindsets in themselves and their teammates

Build collaboration and energy amongst colleagues

Define and practice applying each of the core innovation mindsets: Navigating Ambiguity, Continuous Learning, A Bias Towards Rapid Experimentation, Information Synthesis

I learned so much in this workshop: how to find new ways to brainstorm, prototype, and test solutions to issues we face. The systematic approach of design thinking makes sense rationally, but also allows for innovation and creativity that I'd otherwise not consider. Too often we get stuck in our own box and it's helpful to find tools and processes to break this up to allow for positive change.

Our Methodology

Learn through Experience

Experiences are what change how we see ourselves and the world. People who thrive are curious, focused, have a bias towards action, and pursue ongoing learning.

Ei's methodology is rooted in the belief that the deepest learning occurs through experience. Each workshop addresses specific personal or organizational challenges and then cycles through the pillars of experiential learning.

We've helped thousands of workplace learners with our programs and products.
