Futures-Casting

Course Overview

In our modern economy, the only constant is change. In this workshop, leaders will learn how to identify disruptive trends, incorporate these trends into business and goal planning, and cast a vision grounded in tomorrow vs yesterday.

Through interactive exercises, participants will develop the skills to identify, understand, and address impending market shifts. An emphasis is put on telling the "story" of the future and practicing thought exercises to test tomorrow's assumptions, today.

Course Takeaways

Gain a clear, repeatable framework and guide for “futures thinking”

Explore a methodology for thinking strategically about disruptive forces

Demonstrate the ability to articulate a vision that compels others to join

Develop an understanding and appreciation for futures-based thinking and its potential applications in business

Learn the distinction between future horizons and how to right-size planning and visioning for each

The approach and exercises really helped me with a framework that I can use for a range of work streams -- both big and small.

Our Methodology

Learn through Experience

Experiences are what change how we see ourselves and the world. People who thrive are curious, focused, have a bias towards action, and pursue ongoing learning.

Ei's methodology is rooted in the belief that the deepest learning occurs through experience. Each workshop addresses specific personal or organizational challenges and then cycles through the pillars of experiential learning.
