After working in global health research for the last two years, and in the midst of the medical school application process, she realized that she needed more creativity and freedom in her career. Now, Kaori is on a journey to bridge the diverse skills and passions she finds meaningful in her own life: human-centered design, social justice, and problem solving through inquiry. As an Ei fellow, Kaori is interested in developing her skills in design research, social innovation, visual communication, and storytelling to improve the lives of those in her local and global community.
