Thinking about the "how" more than the "what"

Victor Saad

Everyone has a process.

Even now, you’re processing this post. Maybe this is a total distraction, or it’s your allotted time to peruse things you enjoy reading.

Even if you hate the idea of process because it can feel too routine or stifling, that’s a process.

The more you can point at your process and refine it, the more likely you’ll find things that are holding you back or helping you fly.

How you start your day.
…bring someone onto your team.
…develop new ideas.
…set new goals.
…give and receive feedback.
…handle setbacks.

The most important work you can do throughout your day is to reflect on how you do your work and make adjustments. Then stick to your process for long enough to see if it’s really working.

Then, repeat.

Because what’s holding you back might not be what you’re doing, but how.
