It’s been a full two weeks around the Ei shop! Here’s the skinny:
We’d hoped to ship the final Leap Kits by today, but after seeing our first batches, we caught a few errors and decided to make a couple of perfectionist tweaks to make sure everything is just right (ie: we made the Field Guide’s cover page slightly stronger so it travels better, and the folio needed to be a tad larger to offer ample room for your materials alongside your digital goods). If all goes well, every detail will be buttoned up within the next week and we’ll start shipping the week of 7th!
We’ve done several small print runs this month to make sure the final product is in tip-top shape…
These include sharing them with the TED Global Conference, Students at the School of the Art Institute, and a new “Class” of Leapers at Leo Burnett who’ll be taking Leaps as a group. Everyone has been thrilled with the designs, questions and flow of Leap Kit. It’s been great to see!
LEAP KIT ONLINE
The online course is also in the works! We decided to custom build EVERYTHING to make it a more delightful experience and so we could make additions in the coming years. Our friend and amazingly talented developer, Brian Burkett, just finished developing the site. Now it’s in the hands of the writing team and me to get the first few courses online. If you raised your hand to test the online course and community, we’ll be reaching out in the next two weeks. Stay tuned!
LEAP DAY EVENT
This Monday, we’re hosting a Leap Day event in Chicago with our friends at gravitytank and Chicago Ideas. It’ll be an evening of sharing stories, ideas, and designing Leaps. If you’re in Chicago and want to join us on Monday, click here to join in! (pssst: There are only a few spots left!)
If you have any other questions or thoughts, just send a note to hello [at] experienceinstitute.flywheelsites.com.
If you’d like to purchase a Leap Kit of your own, you can snag one here.
Thanks for being such a foundational and awesome part of Leap Kit!
