December Break
Why we slow down in the holiday rush and create space for reflection
For those of you who’ve been around for a while, you know December is when we press pause. We take a step back from publishing and let the fast-paced holiday season run its course.
Why?
This little writing break has become a healthy rhythm. It creates space for personal reflection and time to check in with close friends, past students, and one another. It also gives you one less thing in your inbox during this busy season.
Does Ei shut down entirely?
Not quite. Here’s what’s happening this month:
- Stanford: Wrapping up the fall class at Stanford (tomorrow!)
- Berkeley: Graduating our first-ever class of students from our newest college program: Experience Lab at UC Berkeley and recruiting for the spring class (applications close December 15th)!
- Teams: Meeting with companies and orgs to chart their learning and development programs in 2020
- Products: Finishing designs and printing our new deck of cards, What’s Worth Doing
Then, we rest.
One thing before you go:
During the next few weeks, we will be preparing Wednesday Words for 2020.
We’re curious, what do you want to read/see next?
With that in mind, can you take 60 seconds to fill out this quick survey by Friday? As a thank you, we’ll send you a hefty discount code for the Ei store to use this month.
Wherever you are today, thanks for being part of our family. We are some of your biggest fans.
