Learning and development in a virtual world

Nearly overnight, every Publicis North America employee transitioned to working from home in March 2019 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. An agency that built and reinforced workflows around in-person client pitches, strategy reviews, and the entire creative process was confronting a challenge it has never experienced before. At the same time, the year’s learning and development plan suddenly didn’t meet the most pressing needs of employees.

Within weeks of the agency transitioning to work from home, Ei produced nearly a dozen workshops on remote work mastery, leading from afar, and pushing through adversity in times of stress and uncertainty.

Hundreds of employees from across the country were able to connect with their peers, share struggles and small wins, and gain access to just in times skills and tools for what they were experiencing.
