Under new leadership, the company’s President wanted to set a culture of innovation, improve employee morale and trust. He say an opportunity to recognize top talent in addressing some low-hanging internal challenges that, if solved, would energize employees.
The company chartered an internal innovation team, and sought Ei’s support to install and support a framework for identifying challenges, brainstorming and prototyping solutions and measuring results through in-depth coaching and a series of workshops in design thinking and storytelling. To extend the learning beyond the innovation team, Ei also hosted workshops for the company’s Senior Leadership team on various innovation mindsets.
Just 1 year in, the innovation team launched 6 front-line innovation projects to address top employee concerns and opportunities. The team was recognized globally by the parent company and received an award for their advances in corporate sustainability.
